Unstoppable Don't Lie

It really doesn't. But I was glad when it did because I was on the verge of being overwhelmed the entire way through. This is a good movie, although I wish Tony Scott would do away with those fucking jump cuts. True Romance didn't have any, one of the many reasons why it is awesome.

Unstoppable was inspired by a true story, which is rare for an action movie. But not so much for a Denzel Washington pic, who since Training Day, seems to keep playing the same character. Don't agree? I don't care, but I haven't seen all his movies.

Although he plays Walt from LOST in Antwone Fisher

So Denzel plays Frank Barnes, a 28 year veteran of the railway, Chris Pine plays Wil Colson, a new train conductor, Rosario Dawson plays Connie Hooper, who runs all this shit, Kevin Dunn plays another douche', Kevin Corrigan plays some kind of railway expert and Randy from My Name Is Earl plays the fuck-tard whose fault this giant kerfuffle is, which if you don't know is mile long unmanned train. And why would you know? There's no train on the frickin' poster.

Going back to the inspired by a true story thing, it's exactly that. Not based on the story. The actual true stories aren't always as good. Like Rudy.

You suck Rudy. You suck.

So Denzel and Kirk are great as two guys on their first day together who don't get along at all times. Denzel forgot his daughters birthday and Kirk is separated from his wife and doesn't get to see his son. Denzel's daughters both work at Hooter's and Kirk has a giggle but Denzel don't take no offense as he's used to it. Rosario seems to know what she's doing when she goes against the guys who own the trains orders and listens to these two rail workers who think they can stop the unstoppable train. The fella's then kind of think they're gonna die so Kirk tell's Denzel a lovely story of why he is separated and we see the wife and daughter's in bits and pieces to.

The film really doesn't calm down and your arsehole remains puckered for the duration of the film. There's also some moments where you want to cry, such as where the train DOESN'T kill those children, which I thought was really nice of it. I'm quite sure it slowed down for a second to let them live. Going back to my emotional state....

Honestly, I nearly choked on my pizza.

All in all the movie is worth 7/10 I'd say. It wasn't too bad at all.
