Give Titan Maximum Another Season or Twelve

I discovered this after fucking around in a Wikipedia loop one night. I downloaded the Christ out of it and then went straight out and got the DVD. Brought to you by the mental minds of the guys behind Robot Chicken, it's in the same kind of humour bracket but not so rapid fire. Seth Green, Breckin Meyer and Matthew Senreich have something here that even if no more episodes are ever made, is fucktastical fun for the whole family. Except for the younger ones on account of the cursing.

Titan Maximum is the name of the robot that the heroes use to save the world or planet or moon or whatever and keep the people safe. It gets this name because most of the action takes place on Titan, the moon of Saturn, in the future at some point and the villain of the piece is Lt. Gibbs, who used to be part of the Titan maximum team, who for all intents and purposes, has the shits with the leader, Commander Palmer, and decides to try and take over the Solar System.

Palmer, Gibbs, Jodi, Sasha and Spud Cunningham (deceased)

Palmer is voiced by Breckin Meyer and Gibbs by Seth Green. Lt. Jodi Yanarella is voiced by Rachel Leigh Cook, Lt. Sasha Caylo is voiced by Eden Espinosa, anybody? and Space Seaman Willie Palmer is voiced by Dan Milano. Willie is Palmer's little brother who wants to bang Sasha. Most people in the show do.

At only ten minutes in length, each episode is well paced and with a nice balance of jokes and story, watching this is a good way to spend an afternoon. Once a week even. Or every afternoon. I don't get sick of it.

AAAND there's a monkey.

I like how it's based on those giant robot Japanese kids shows, like Power Rangers, and how it takes the piss right out of them. It's even uncensored on DVD.

I don't really have much more to say about it because its something that if you try and tell people what its about and what happens and stuff, it tends to fuck it up. Or maybe it's just the way I tell things, I don't know. What I do know is that it's a show that probably needs to reach a wider audience in order for more to come but I'm actually fine with it being a kind of hidden gem and if there are no more, then ah well, I love the eps that have been made.

Punching the fuck out of it.

I'm actually surprised at how good a story can be when there's only a short time to tell it.
